The customer at 1 Henry Dane Way sought to cut electricity costs and attain sustainable energy autonomy. A solar array with battery storage was identified as the best fit after careful evaluation.
System components:
The total capacity of the system was 3.32 kWp. The addition of the GivEnergy battery facilitated smart energy management, storing surplus power for times of high use or low solar production, thus enhancing energy self-sufficiency, particularly during the darker winter months.
Under the 3.6 kWp threshold, the installation did not necessitate prior grid consent, allowing for a streamlined setup. The system’s design was not only functionally effective but also aesthetically pleasing, featuring sleek Trina Vertex S panels.
The incorporation of the GivEnergy inverter and battery technology provided a dependable, long-term energy solution, contributing to the customer’s goal of energy independence.
The project reached completion with successful system commissioning on 29th September 2023, marking a shift to greener energy for the customer.
