The Burrows Solar System Installation

Case Study 2023

Client Brief

The Burrows came to us with the aim to significantly reduce their electricity expenses. We offered them a bespoke consultation service to pinpoint the optimal solution to meet their energy needs.

Our team recommended a state-of-the-art solar system complemented by battery storage capabilities. The final installation comprised:

Twenty Jinko Tiger Neo 425W panels, seamlessly integrated within the roofing through a GSE in-roof system.

A SolarEdge 6000W 1ph Home-Wave inverter, coupled with a robust SolarEdge Energy Bank Battery boasting a 10kWh capacity.

The system’s expected annual output was calculated at 6106 kWh, presenting a substantial system size of 8.5kWp.

The system’s anticipated yearly generation was 6106 kWh, contributing to a significant cut in energy expenses. The battery’s inclusion was strategic, providing energy storage for use when demand spiked or sunlight was scarce, notably improving winter energy efficiency.

Given the system’s size (8.5kWp), we navigated grid permission protocols for the Burrows, streamlining the approval process. Following authorisation, materials were quickly delivered to our Leicestershire facility.

The installation’s design was not just functional but also visually appealing, blending seamlessly with the property’s aesthetics through the use of All-Black panels and the GSE in-roof system. Performance and dependability were further enhanced by SolarEdge Power Optimisers.

The system was fully operational as of 10th November 2023, ready to deliver environmental and economic benefits to the Burrows.

Committed to harnessing the power of the sun to create a brighter, more sustainable future for Leicestershire and beyond.
